80s Colombia. Killers, chaos and a lot of cocaine.

A commission for fanart of the Netflix series Narcos, surrounding the life of the notorious Pablo Escobar. I liked getting the loud yet indifferent manner of these drug smugglers and killers into the piece. The inherent threat from people who could have become just like you or me. I love working with character, and had a nice change of pace with this one, using bright colours and a pazzaz that I haven't used much elsewhere.

Towers

Office artwork picuring Mentmoor Towers.

PRS Office Furniture asked me to spruce up their office space with a couple of commissions. One of these is the above design for a decal to be printed in faux frosted glass effect to go on board room doors. Mentmoor towers, the Ivinghoe beacon and Pitstone Windmill are landmarks local to the company and now the names of board rooms.

Hampden Fields Action Group

Interview video for a local action group

A local action group, Hampden Fields Action Group, reached out for a videographer for an interview with their spokesperson, Phil Yerby. This involved filmiing various locations around their area of interest, as well as the interview itself. A redesign of their logo, including an animated intro of it, was included as well as chroma keying of the interviewee.

A doodle of a family member resting on his beanbag. Naturally posed, of course, with his crack showing. I like sketching up these crisp drawings with gradient shade. These's something sharp and clear about the style that several clients like the look of. It's not just me tooting my own horn.

Animated explainer video

We were commissioned by the Nuffield Foundation to create this animated explainer video on descrepancies in child protection data. Animated to the client brief "on a whiteboard", this was shot frame by frame of whiteboard drawings. I directed the crew, animated and edited on this project.
